Tucked up nicely, lots of ground clearance

Factory VW mount system with flex pads, mated to my homestyle hangers. Note the horror-show U-bolt weld vs the later pipe weld... Learning curve illustrated.
Turbo connector flange mated to wastegate. Copper gasket & nuts.

After 5 sections, I had gotten much better. Really helped to have it in the bright sunlight so I could see something through the welding helmet.
First weld with pipes off the vehicle... a little better. Beauty pipes, eh?
2.5" stainless pre-made mandrel bends, a flexy pipe, and a Magnaflow muffler. Turbo flange from Ebay. Made the U-bolt and hangers. Sloppy first welds and tacks made under the van when setting it up.
